The challenge

Translating Agentic AI from possibility into product direction.

For Verizon’s intern business challenge, my team explored how the company could accelerate responsible Agentic AI deployments. We investigated technical hurdles, compared tools and frameworks, and evaluated where autonomous AI behavior could create meaningful value.

I helped connect emerging AI capabilities to product and customer needs. The opportunity was bigger than technical feasibility, so we also surfaced legal, ethical, governance, and customer-trust considerations to balance ambition with responsible implementation.

Our lens

Technical readiness, valuable use cases, governance, ethics, and the people affected by each decision.

Our outcome

A research-backed strategic direction that connected emerging AI capability to practical deployment considerations.

Team

A cross-functional challenge.

I collaborated on the challenge with Connie Zhang, Mary Buist, and Sahithi Lingampalli. Working across different perspectives made our thinking sharper and helped us turn a broad prompt into a clear story.

I’m grateful for the support of our sponsors Gopal Mandava and Rocio Llanos-Foots, who helped us pressure-test the opportunity and connect our ideas to Verizon’s larger context.

Reflection

Balancing possibility with responsibility.

This challenge strengthened the way I approach emerging technology: begin with curiosity, make the complexity legible, and keep people at the center of the recommendation. The most compelling future is not simply the most advanced one. It is the one a team can responsibly understand, trust, and act on.
